A Night at the Theatre
The Friends of the Library have partnered with the Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg to present a Night at the Theatre on Wednesday, August 12. Seating begins at 7:00 pm. Join other library supporters for this exclusive performance of William Shakespeare's comedic play The Taming of the Shrew. This early "battle of the sexes" focuses on the courtship of the headstrong Katherina by the wily Petruchio, who uses psychological tactics to "tame" her into an obedient wife. Tickets cost $20 per person and are on sale now at the library.
The play will be performed at Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg, 915 South York Street, Mechanicsburg.
