Beginner Kinusaiga In-Person

$20 materials fee. For ages 14+. Discover the art of Kinusaiga—a beautiful Japanese no-sew patchwork technique that transforms fabric into stunning textured designs! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the basics of Kinusaiga. Using fabric and a design board, you’ll trace your design then gently tuck fabric into grooves to build a vibrant, quilt-like image—no sewing required. All supplies are included, including your design board, fabrics, tools, and step-by-step instruction. Depending on the details of the design you choose, you might not complete your project in class but will have the knowledge and supplies to complete your project at home. The library subsidizes the cost for this program. There is a $20 materials fee for this event due at registration. Call or stop by the front desk to reserve your spot today! (717) 486-3688
