America/Nation of Immigrants In-Person

A musical and historical tour from the Revolutionary War through the Expansion West. This Program presents key historical figures in the nation's founding, the importance of immigrants who built railroads, communities, and added to the rich cultural heritage of the New Nation. They sing familiar patriotic songs, give some history and pertinent references, including the importance of Pennsylvania with its fertile farm lands and abundant natural resources including anthracite coal production fueling the industrial revolution. Presented by Lester Hirsh.
