State Fair Birthday Party In-Person
All ages are invited to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States of America and explore the diverse states that make our nation unique. We hope that each state will be represented by a person or display (sign up online or at the library to “claim” a state). Games, prizes, birthday cake and more!
Sign up here to represent a state/territory
When you sign up to represent a state, you'll be given a trifold board which you can decorate with pictures, facts, maps, and whatever else is special about that state. Here's a link to guidelines and ideas for the display boards.
If you are unable to attend the event on July 31 but still want to make a state display board, you are welcome to do so. Please drop off the state display board to the library by 5 p.m. on Friday July 31.
