Event Information

Monarch Butterflies In-Person

The Monarch butterfly is an iconic pollinator, easily recognizable for it’s bold orange and black markings and famous for it’s 3,000 mile migration.

A local community member, Cindy, has been planting milkweeds in her yard and raising Monarchs in her garage for educational purposes. Cindy will bring enclosures with caterpillars and chrysalis.

Stop by and get the chance to talk with a local community member who raises Monarch Butterflies! If we are very lucky, we might even see a Monarch hatch from it’s chrysalis!
