DESCRIPTION:Story Time in the Park is held at Winding Hill Park South\, 900 
 East Winding Hill Road\, Mechanicsburg.\n\nStory Time in the Park is a fun 
 and engaging program designed to help children ages 4 - 6 prepare for or 
 adjust to kindergarten. These sessions include a lively mix of interactive 
 and educational activities that support early literacy\, social skills\, 
 and fine motor development in a fun entertaining environment.\n\nHere’s 
 what a typical session might include:\n\n📚 Stories\nAge-appropriate 
 books that focus on our summer learning program\, "Unearth a 
 Story."\n\n🎵 Songs\nSimple\, repetitive songs that build language 
 skills\, rhythm\, and memory. Songs often include movement to help children 
 practice following directions and participating in a group.\n\n✋ Finger 
 Plays\nShort\, interactive rhymes using hand motions. Finger plays 
 strengthen fine motor skills and coordination while supporting early 
 literacy.\n\n🗣 Rhymes\nNursery rhymes and patterned chants help children 
 hear syllables and sounds\, an important foundation for 
 reading.\n\nOverall\, Story Time in the Park helps children build 
 confidence\, independence\, listening skills\, and early academic 
 foundations—all in a playful\, supportive environment.\n
