Gardening with Nature In-Person
Join the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Cumberland County for this series. Registration is $5 per workshop online at the Penn State Extension website or walk-in and pay at the door.

Few things bring greater satisfaction than eating fruit picked fresh from your own garden. Hear from local volunteers working to make our communities greener. Encouraging and guiding significant changes within area boroughs, HOA’s and environmental organizations. Gain inspiration from their stories and photos. Learn how they became involved and the strategies used for successful engagement.
May 14: It All Starts with a Seed - Clyde Forbes PSE Master Gardener
An in depth look at how to map out a plan for a successful vegetable garden from start to finish. You’ll learn some techniques like trellising, succession planting, companion planting and crop rotation. How to decide what to plant based on size, space and what you eat. Completing our journey with soil health, amendments, and preparation choices.
