STEAM Club Gr. 1 - 2: Build a Bird Feeder In-Person
Join us for a fun and creative hands-on program where you’ll design and build your very own bird feeder! Using simple materials, participants will learn how to create a feeder that attracts local birds while providing them with a safe place to eat.
This program is perfect for children in grades 1 and 2 and offers a great opportunity to explore nature, practice basic crafting skills, and learn about the different types of birds in your area. Participants will also discover what kinds of seeds and foods attract specific birds and how to care for their feeder at home.
By the end of the session, you’ll take home a finished bird feeder ready to hang in your yard, along with tips on how to observe and identify your feathered visitors. It’s a great way to connect with nature and bring a little wildlife right to your window!
*Bird feeders will be made from seeds and sunflower butter.
