Genealogy Series: Introduction to Online Genealogy Research In-Person

Genealogy research can be very exciting.  We stumble upon information and are excited to add it to our trees. However, there are many reasons why the information might send you on the wrong track and you may waste years of your research time on the wrong information.  This session will highlight common pitfalls and how to avoid them. This class is part of a three part series which will be led by Rob Lesher, PA Forward® Program Manager with the Pennsylvania Library Association. Rob has been working on genealogy for 30 years. His interest in genealogy was sparked by family stories of famous ancestors, but the ordinary lives of our ancestors has kept him addicted to researching those ancestors.
